Hi, my name is Karsten Schreyer and I am 24 years old.
I did my exam in Heidelberg on the Julius Springer Schule, which was based on economic informatics and progamming with Html, Php and Java. So I decided to do apprenticeship as IT specialist at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen. At my apprenticeship I have learned to develop with following programming languages:
- Abap Objects
- Microsoft .Net C#, C++
- Java and Android
- Html and Php
- Microsoft SharePoint
Currently I am studying computer science at the Unversity of Karlsruhe.
While I was at my apprenticeship I have started to develop Android and Windows Apps.
In November 2013 I created a Windows Store Developer Account, called ‚Karsten Schreyer Developer‘. I developped a new Windows Store App „Playlist Creator“.
After a few weeks I uploaded my first Windows Store App ‚Playlist Creator Free‘. Developing for Windows was never in my favour. In my opinion Windows 8 was never a good platfom to develop for. Building ‚Apps‘ which running on an tablet and also on a desktop pc on the same time is kinda stupid. Also the Windows Store is dead.
However, I decided to change-over to the Android Development. I began to program Playlist Creator for Android with Java, which has now nearly 100.000 Downloads in the Play Store! Since my downloads have been increasing I decided to create a website ks-developer.com. This website should give a little overview what I have done over the years. Users can stay in touch with me and get a few informations about current development processes.
